Dune Ha annunciato il nuovo Lettore HD DUO 4K che andrà a sostituire il BASE 3D. Si tratta della versione Piu estesa del Solo 4K già commercializzato da alcuni mesi, anche se di non facile reperimento.

Soprattutto rispetto al nuovo Oppo 203?

be il paragone con l'oppo sussiste a metà, sono due cose un po diverse. Quantomeno per la mancata possibilità di leggere i supporti fisici UHD. Quello è un lettore blu-ray questo è un media player. Ha due bay per inserire due dischi fino a 10 TB, supporta la lettura delle ISO BD e ISO DVD che l'oppo non fa. ha una gestione delle locandine. Io direi che sono complementari.
Rispetto ai vari mediaplayer, la differenza sostanziale è sulla qualità della componentistica e l'affidabilità dell'OS.

attualmente uso Oppo 103D+Dune base 3D, a breve cambierò con oppo 205 + Due duo 4K.

Uhm, tanto per capire, rispetto al Popcorn Hour A500 Pro (visto che hanno lo stesso chip, lo stesso processore video e lo stesso DAC) vanta una baia in più, il WiFi integrato ma l'uscita cuffie in meno...

Altre differenze hardware sostanziali fra le due macchine?

Ad esempio vedo un ingresso per l'antenna...
Ha un sintonizzatore integrato per il digitale terrestre?

Credo di no... L'hdmi dovrebbe essere 1.4b.
Poi no hdr, avendo in pratica lo stesso hardware di un Popcorn Hour A500 Pro (ed arrivando come lui ai 4k @30fps) che non ce l'ha.
In più noto che non è fanless (ha due ventoline).
Penso però che hdr e 4k @60 non dovrebbero un problema per almeno un paio d'anni...

Personalmente mi incuriosisce l'antenna...
Nelle specifiche vedo il "tuner" come "option"... Non capisco che intenda
Sarebbe assai comodo se potesse anche registrare il digitale terrestre come parrebbe...

nelle specifiche non è riportato, ma secondo voi la porta indicata nell'immagine sottostante può essere una usb slave?

Immagine presa dal sito ufficiale Dune: la porta è indicata come "reserved". Se si osserva invece nei video postati sopra, la porta viene indicata come "Usb In (Option)".

Confermo: l'ho acquistato dall'importatore ufficiale circa 10 giorni fa e mercoledì scorso lo avevo già a casa.

con 700euro, non varrebbe la pena prendere un buon PC per Home con una scheda video 4K?
un domani, basterebbe sostituire la scheda video per eventuali aggiornamenti a 8K...
o ci sono cose che non riesco a comprendere?
